Purpose: To proactively schedule maintenance planning, maintenance purchases, storage and the issuing of spare parts to the Engineering team.

Duties:

Prepare & issue spare part kits for major services.

Issue consumables on a daily basis to the Engineering team.

Manage stock levels for spare parts.

Conduct monthly cycle counts as per schedule.

Conduct quarterly stock counts.

Adjust stock levels with the Engineering Maintenance Manager and Finance team as necessary.

Purchase spares as per maintenance plan.

Source competitive pricing on consumable items.

Follow up with suppliers on order confirmation and delivery on schedule as required.

Review open orders and expedite where required.

Consolidate supplier invoices/proof of delivery for Finance team to process payments.

Plan maintenance according to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).

Issue maintenance & production job cards.

Capture completed maintenance & production job cards.

File maintenance documentation according to ISO standards.

Adhere to ISO standards in maintenance stores.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Technical Qualification NQF 4 – NQF 6.

Intermediate level of computer literacy (MS Office).

Maintenance stores/stock management programs.

Prior knowledge of ISO standards.
